4 Set Menus to Choose from for Priority Pass Guests…

Flight Club DPS is one of two premise that Priority Pass holders can access at Bali International Airport. The other Priority Pass lounge would be the Concordia Lounge. Flight Club DPS, of course, is a restaurant and not an airport lounge. However, as with our experience with Priority Pass restaurants at airports, they do offer better quality in terms of taste and presentation as what we experienced at Flight Club DPS at Bali International Airport

First and foremost, there are actually 3 entrances to Flight Club DPS at Bali International Airport. To utilise your Priority Pass privileges, you will have to locate the Priority Pass counter (see photo above) INSIDE the restaurant. There, you can be checked-in via the usual QR code on the Priority Pass app and you can select the menu that you would like to have during your stay here. Inside, we noticed the restaurant to have an open kitchen where you can see the chefs busy at work. There are also comfortable and modern sofa seats at the first level. If you’d like more privacy, you can also head up to the 2nd level to have a bird’s eye view of Denpasar International Terminal – but the air-conditioning here is not very strong, so you’ll have to request for the portable A/Cs to be switched on and be seated right in the direction that it blows.

We actually tried all 4 menus over 2 trips and this is what we think of the 4 set menus at Flight Club DPS Bali International Airport…

Flight Club Bali Priority Pass Set A

Flight Club DPS Bali International Airport Set Menu A - Curry Laksa, Caesar Salad, Money Bag and Sliced Fruits
Flight Club DPS Bali International Airport Set Menu A – Curry Laksa, Caesar Salad, Money Bag and Sliced Fruits

The Curry Laksa was actually quite delicious. Despite using the yellow noodles that we’d usually not choose (we would likely ask for the vermicelli on future visits), the broth was actually quite savoury and flavourful, albeit a little spicy. There’s also a salad and fruits that add some fibre to a traveller’s diet. Lastly, the money bag was crisp and not too bad as well.

Flight Club Bali Priority Pass Set B and D

Flight Club DPS Bali International Airport Set Menu B and D - Hainanese Chicken and Trio Mushrooms Spaghetti
Flight Club DPS Bali International Airport Set Menu B and D – Hainanese Chicken and Trio Mushrooms Spaghetti

On our second visit, we tried Set B and D. Set D seems to be the only vegetarian option of the 4 menus. Nonetheless, we actually enjoyed the Trio Mushrooms Spaghetti. The spaghetti had the al dente texture and the different mushrooms were fresh, crisp and hearty. Pretty good option if you’re going for a vegetarian meal. We also enjoyed the Hainanese Chicken Rice. The meats were chunky and had tastes close to home. We were actually surprised that the taste were that good – caveat – for a Hainanese Chicken Rice found in Bali. Even the rice was fragrant and likely simmered in a chicken broth.

Flight Club Bali Priority Pass Set C

Flight Club DPS Bali International Airport Set Menu C - Lamb Kebab , Caesar Salad, Mushroom Soup, Sliced Fruit
Flight Club DPS Bali International Airport Set Menu C – Lamb Kebab , Caesar Salad, Mushroom Soup, Sliced Fruit

For the mains, the Lamb Kebab was our least favourite. Not because it was gamey, it wasn’t. But because the meat was slightly on the dry side. However, the mushroom soup was really good. You could taste the real ingredients used in making this creamy mushroom soup from Flight Club DPS Bali International Airport.

Flight Club DPS Priority Pass Menu - Choice of Muffin or Croissant (Blueberry / Walnut Muffin)

Flight Club DPS Priority Pass Menu - Choice of Muffin or Croissant (Almond / Chocolate Croissant)
Flight Club DPS Priority Pass Menu – Choice of Muffin or Croissant (Almond / Chocolate Croissant)

As for the choice of muffin or croissant, you can see that the muffins are actually HUGE and there are several options as well. For muffins, you can choose from the blueberry muffin or the walnut muffin. As for the croissant, you can choose from the almond or chocolate muffins. However, do not place your expectations to be too high because the croissants were more “bready” instead of “flaky/crisp”. The muffins too were slightly too sweet. Given a choice, we’d likely go with the muffins in the future.

We hope you have enjoyed our review of the Priority Pass Set Menus at Flight Club DPS Bali International Airport. All in all, we enjoyed all of the offerings here and if we were to choose a favourite, it would likely be the curry laksa or the Hainanese chicken rice. If you’re not rushed for time, the views from level 2 over Denpasar Bali International Airport is also not too bad an option as well. Enjoy your next visit to Flight Club DPS via Priority Pass membership!
