BO$$MAN Burger was a store that caught our eyes as we exited from Seminyak Village Shopping Mall. The logo of Bossman (to be spelt as Bossman instead of Bo$$man for ease of typing) has a smiley face with dollar signs for its eyes. The bright yellow signboard and the grill smells attracted us this afternoon as we started to search for our dinner this evening…
BO$$MAN Seminyak Bali Review

Upon entering into Bossman Bali, the modern look continued to unfold. You’ll find a little bit of US diner’s style with high bar stools and counter tops as well as dining tables around the restaurant. Notably, you’ll also see the open-concept kitchen where what the chefs are doing in preparing the ingredients and forming of the burgers, can be all seen by a watchful customer. Right in the middle, you’ll find the cashier where you can make your orders as well.
The only thing that we didn’t like about this setup is that the smokiness also reaches all the diners in the restaurant. Which means that if you dine-in, it is very likely that you’ll have grilled burger smells all over your shirt. 😅
BO$$MAN Seminyak Bali Menu

Once we got to the counter, we took some time to look through the menu before we ordered. While analysing, we found that PORK was on the menu! You can have it in the form of a burger known as “Lucky Pig” or the form of a hot dog known as “Top Dog”. Here are some of the burgers on the Bossman menu at Seminyak Bali:
Lil’ Smashin’
(Bread and butter, smashed patty, pickles, smoked cheese, onion, mustard, ketchup)
McLovin’
(160g beef patty, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, pickles, mustard, thousand island, aioli)
Numero Uno
(160g beef patty, bacon, grilled onions, smoked cheddar, creole chutney, wholegrain aioli, house-smoked bbq sauce)
Dinero
(160g seasoned beef patty, jalapeno, cheddar cheese, rocket, onion, coriander, chipotle mayonnaise, salsa verde)
Lucky Pig
(Bali guling spiced pork belly, cassava leaf lawar, balinese sambals, bumbu mayonnaise)
Easy Money
(Nashville buttermilk fried chicken, cabbage, slaw, pickles, ranch dressing)
Winner Winner
(Buttermilk fried chicken, bacon, american cheese, sweet and sour barbecue sauce, caramelised pineapple, romaine)
Smashin’
(160g beef double smash patty, american cheese, russian dressing, pickles)
The Venus
(Edamame, quinoa & sunflower, seed patty, beetroot & walnut, salad, baby spinach, red onion, eggplant, creole, chutney, tzatziki)
Top Dog
(Pork frank hot dog, milk bun, american mustard, heinz, ketchup, sour cream, sauerkraut, bbq onions)
Sides include fries, jalapeno poppers, truffle fries, loaded fries and chicken tenders.
Here’s what we decided on eventually…
What We Bought from BO$$MAN Seminyak Bali Menu

Eventually, we settled on Lucky Pig – 90K and Numero Uno – 100K. Taxes were included even though we took away and the total came up to 223k IDR or about $19.
Let’s talk about Lucky Pig first.
Lucky Pig came with 2 generous pieces of braised pork belly with a chives based sauce inside. The meat itself was tender and well-marinated. We love the cassava leaf lawar strewn over the top, adding the crunch to the burger. Almost like a Balinese-styled salad to give it a different texture on taste.
As for the Numero Uno, which means “Number One”, had an underlying meaning of “you have to try it since it is number one”. It was a very typical american burger. A hearty beef patty that has been grilled to perfection to infuse the smokiness to it, topped with a cheddar and drizzled in smoked BBQ sauce. The bacon provided the fragrance while the grilled onions provided the crunch. The wholegrain aioli added that little something that is different from the conventional beef burger, bringing the entire Numero Uno burger together.

@2bearbeartravel After our hair spa near #SeminyakVillage, we headed to #Bo$$man to try out their #gourmetburgers At about 100k for each #burger , though its not exactly cheap, #bossman does deliver on quality. Both #luckypig and #numerouno surprised us with the sauce, fatty #pork belly and chunky #beef patty #shiok 😋👍 #food #foodie #sgfoodie #foodtok #foodtiktok #burgers #yum #yummy #delicious #bossmanburger #seminyak #bali #indonesia ♬ March of the Crystal Horses – Torchlight
All in all, we were happy to have found BO$$MAN and to try out their tasty burgers. This time, although we took the burgers back to enjoy it by our pool, the burgers still remained tasty and coupled with our Bintang Beers (55K IDR – $5 SGD) and the sunset before us, it was a wonderful dining experience. The only gripe we had was that for the price we paid, the burger actually felt a little small. This also means that about $10 SGD per burger, it would have been pricey for locals. Still, great renditions of burgers at BO$$MAN. Do give BO$$MAN Burger a try the next time you’re at Seminyak Bali!
