Here’s Where You Can Enjoy Blue Bottle Coffee in Singapore—no flights required

For those who appreciate quality coffee, Blue Bottle Coffee’s arrival in Singapore is welcome news. The respected Oakland-born brand has opened its doors at LUMINE SINGAPORE in Raffles City, bringing its thoughtful approach to coffee to our local scene.

What’s the vibe like?

The 135-square-metre space offers a considered design approach with a U-shaped island bar that provides a 360-degree view of the baristas at work. The aesthetics strike a nice balance, minimalist stainless steel counters complemented by warm white oak furniture and leather accents. Even the speakers (custom oak Taguchi) have been thoughtfully selected to enhance the cafe atmosphere.

What’s on the menu?

You’ll find all the Blue Bottle classics here—Americano (S$7.50), Cappuccino (S$8), Latte (S$8.50) and Mocha (S$9.50). Their cold brews are particularly worth trying, especially given Singapore’s climate.

We’re absolutely smitten with their New Orleans-Style Coffee (S$8), affectionately nicknamed “Nola” by regulars. This deliciously smooth concoction is cold brewed with roasted chicory, then blended with milk and organic cane sugar for the perfect pick-me-up that isn’t too sweet or overpowering. It’s perfect for our tropical climate!

For non-coffee drinkers, there’s the Lemon Yuzu Fizz (S$8.50) or Kimino Sparkling Apple or Peach Juice (S$7.50).

Local Partnership with Bakery Brera

Blue Bottle is integrating with the local scene through thoughtful partnerships. Their collaboration with Bakery Brera, a beloved local bakery established in 2016 known for both artisanal pastries and community involvement, brings a local touch to their menu.

The absolute must-try? The Pandan Canelé with Kaya (S$6). It’s got that signature crisp caramelised exterior and custardy centre of a traditional French canelé, but with a distinctly Singaporean twist—fragrant pandan and rich kaya (coconut jam).

Other standouts include the Coconut Kouign-Amann (S$8) and classics like Pain au Chocolat (S$8) and Triple Cheese & Turkey Croissant (S$8). Honestly, we’re already planning return visits to work our way through the entire menu.

Our take

Blue Bottle offers a refined coffee experience that’s worth exploring. They’ve successfully brought their commitment to quality while adapting to Singapore’s tastes through thoughtful local collaborations. Whether you’re a serious coffee connoisseur or simply looking for a new café option, it merits a visit.
