Hampton Inn & Suites Maui North Shore, managed by Springboard Hospitality, is set to open a newly constructed 136-room oceanfront hotel on April 25, 2025. The hotel is located on the historic site of the Maui Palms Hotel, offering a blend of modern convenience and traditional Hawaiian hospitality.
The property is nestled along Kahului Bay and embraces the area’s rich cultural history. It features ocean-view suites and rooms equipped with amenities such as mini-fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, in-room safes, irons and ironing boards, and luggage racks.
The hotel design is inspired by Maui’s natural resources and beauty. Features include a traditional Hawaiian-inspired entrance and color schemes that reflect the surrounding beaches and Pacific Ocean. The hotel showcases locally inspired artwork, including a mural by Maui-based artist Alexandra Underwood, displayed prominently in the lobby.
The hotel aims to provide guests with authentic Hawaiian experiences. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with an Oshibori ceremony involving essential oil-infused towels. The property also hosts a nightly Sunset Ceremony to honor the end of the day. Additional cultural activities include daily lei-making classes.
The property offers an ocean-facing pool, a modern fitness center, pet-friendly guest rooms, free daily hot breakfast, and beach amenities. A complimentary shuttle service is available for guests from the Kahului Airport, just five minutes away.
The hotel’s restaurant, The Palms Bar & Bites, will open in the summer of 2025 and offer locally inspired cuisine and tropical cocktails.
