adidas is raising the bar in race-day performance once again with the launch of the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 2—the much-anticipated evolution of the record-shattering Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1. Worn by more World Marathon Majors champions than any other shoe, its predecessor has already helped athletes set three world records, seven national records, and even an Olympic record since its debut at the 2023 Berlin Marathon.
Now, the Evo 2 takes things up a gear.
Sitting at the top of adidas’ elite Adizero franchise, which powered more race wins than any other brand in 2024, the Adios Pro Evo 2 introduces cutting-edge tech designed to maximize energy return and speed. Key innovations include:
- Upgraded midsole: Featuring 3mm more LIGHTSTRIKE PRO EVO foam in the forefoot, the stack height sees a 10% increase—delivering 5% more energy return compared to the Evo 1.
- Reengineered outsole: A new grid-pattern outsole on the forefoot offers enhanced grip at high speeds.
- Signature rocker geometry: Retained at 60% of the shoe’s length, the forefoot rocker supports a smoother, faster toe-off.
Aesthetically, the Evo 2 keeps things sleek with a minimalist silver upper and bold red three-stripes—built to turn heads at any pace.
