Visit Maldives – News > Visit Maldives Drives Destination Awareness in Dubai, coinciding with ATM 2025, with Liverpool FC Collaboration



Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/ Visit Maldives) is set to amplify the Maldives’ presence in the Middle East during Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 in partnership with Liverpool Football Club (LFC). This strategic initiative, including a taxi advertising campaign in Dubai and a dedicated LFC-themed zone at the Maldives Stand at ATM 2025, aims to capture the attention of travel enthusiasts, football fans, and ATM attendees, further establishing the Maldives as a premier luxury destination.

Activated throughout April and May 2025, the taxi campaign will see Dubai’s green taxis designed with eye-catching wraps featuring stunning visuals of the Maldives alongside prominent LFC players and the Visit Maldives branding. The wraps will also include compelling Arabic messagings, using their local language to create a deeper sense of connection with the audience.  

In addition to the taxi campaign, Visit Maldives will feature a dedicated LFC-themed zone at the Maldives stand during ATM 2025. This collaboration will further increase visibility of our destination at this influential travel trade event. The Maldives stand will feature an interactive photo backdrop where attendees can capture memorable moments with cutouts of their favorite LFC players against a picturesque Maldivian backdrop. Furthermore, the stand will present prominent branded graphics throughout, highlighting the key partnership between Visit Maldives and LFC. 

This strategic collaboration with Liverpool FC at ATM 2025, complemented by the high-impact Dubai taxi campaign, will strengthen Maldives’ brand presence and attract a wider audience, reinforcing our position as a premier travel destination in the Middle Eastern market. ATM Dubai 2025 has been designated as the flagship fair of the year by Visit Maldives, underlining the strategic importance of this event. We intend to strengthen trade and media ties, reposition the Maldives as a premier destination, and drive awareness of the diverse offerings from Maldivian properties and local experiences.
