Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has partnered with Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) 2025, the premium B2B travel trade exhibition in the Maldives as the Destination Partner. Held from 27 to 28 August 2025 at Barcelo Nasandhura Maldives, the fair brought together leading global buyers, hoteliers, DMCs, airlines, tour operators, travel media and other stakeholders.
As the Destination Partner, Visit Maldives played a central role in positioning the Maldives as a preferred global travel destination across key tourism segments, including luxury, wellness, halal, MICE, eco-tourism, and cultural travel. As part of the destination partnership, Visit Maldives received the opportunity to reinforce the Maldives’ visibility and reputation among the world’s leading travel trade professionals through on-ground branding, digital storytelling, and strategic industry engagements.
More than 3,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings were facilitated via the TTM Connect platform, creating unmatched opportunities for exhibitors to engage with global buyers and partners. Maldivian resorts, hotels, airlines, and service providers showcased new experiences, exclusive offers, and innovative products tailored to diverse markets. Visit Maldives also held key meetings with international operators, DMCs, and travel media to strengthen presence in both established and emerging markets.
The event will culminate with the TTM Awards & Gala 2025, hosted at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi on 28 August. The gala will celebrate outstanding contributions to the Maldives tourism industry, recognising excellence in service, sustainability, innovation, marketing, and hospitality. Featuring live cultural performances and music, the evening will also provide an exclusive networking opportunity for industry leaders, global partners, and media.
“TTM has successfully become the most exclusive event in the Maldives for Global Travel Trade to engage directly with Maldivian Tourism Products. Visit Maldives Corporation takes great pleasure to partner and support such key efforts that are strengthening the Maldives position as a premium travel destination on the global stage,” said Mr. Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO & MD of Visit Maldives.
